Study: Jesus In the Old Testament

This is a study on Jesus Christ in the Old Testament. His name was not Jesus then, and He was not in mortal flesh then; yet, He existed before the Garden of Eden (Micah 5:2), before Abraham (John 8:58), and before He was born in the flesh in Bethlehem to Mary.

He showed Himself to certain people during several instances throughout the Old Testament in visions, and not in visions. We will look at some of those instances from Abraham to Daniel.

The LORD appeared to Abram promising the future birth of Abraham’s son, Isaac. Read Genesis 17: 1-22

But the LORD said, “You cannot see My face, for no one may see Me and live.”  The LORD let him see His back, though. Read Exodus 33:17-23
