Being human, it is hard not to want to get back at people who do us harm; But, the bible tells believers in Christ to wait on the Lord to repay their enemies for the wrong that is done to them.
Crimes must not go unpunished, and they should be reported to the police, but the Christian should, at the same time, trust the Lord to ultimately do what needs to be done, because He said, "It is mine to avenge; I will repay." (Romans 12:17-21)
