The Father sent His Son, Jesus to die for the sins of the world. After Jesus died, He rose from the dead on the third day. Many people saw Him and spoke to Him. After Jesus returned to the Father in Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit to come and live in and help people who obey God. All who love Jesus and obey the word of God have the Holy Spirit living in them.

The Holy Spirit is a seal in the hearts of men and women, showing that they belong to God and have received  eternal life. Read Ephesians 1:13-14 and 2 Corinthians 5:5.
