After Jesus had completed His work on earth...His death, burial, and resurrection; after showing Himself alive to His disciples over a forty day period; after His ascension back into Heaven, what happened next?
The Bible tells us that Jesus was received back into Heaven. Read Mark 16:19, Luke 24:50-51, and Acts 1:1-11.
Read Revelation Chapter 5, the entire chapter. In this chapter, you will see that all in Heaven and earth and under the earth acknowledged that Jesus is worthy to receive glory and worship for His triumphant victory and for the salvation He brought to mankind. Jesus was and is worthy of all acclaim!
Also read Daniel 7:9-14. These verses show that Jesus was greatly honored and given dominion and authority and an everlasting kingdom upon His return.
Jesus Christ sat down at the right hand of the Father upon His homecoming (Read Acts 2:32-36, Mark 16:19, Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 1:13, Hebrews 8:1-2)), and there He’ll stay until the Father determines the time is right for His return (Acts 3:21)
Only the Father knows when He'll send Jesus back to gather His saints and to judge. Read Matthew 24:36.
