What is Love?

"Love is patient,
love is kind.

It does not envy,
it does not boast,
it is not proud.

It is not rude,
it is not self-seeking,
it is not easily angered,
it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in
evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails."

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

Jesus tells us to forgive those who do us wrong, just as our Father in Heaven forgives us of our sins.

Read:

Matthew 6: 14-15
and Mathew 18: 21-35

Behavior Pleasing to the Lord

Once we come into a covenant relationship with Christ by being baptized we must begin to live for Christ. Read Colossians 3:1-2

We must live a life that is pleasing to the Lord daily.

Read Colossians 3: 5-17. These verses give instructions on good behavior, forgiveness, and love...all of which are pleasing to God.

Notice the similarities between what is written in Colossians 3: 12-14  and  1 Corinthians 13.

Make it your goal to please the Lord daily by being a faithful, loving, and forgiving person.
